Hey, welcome to DeviantZone.com We're glad you made the choice to join the community and make it better for both us and you! Our goal is to have fun! There are a lot of different kinds of people in this community but we don't mind differences at all.

On the other hand, if you have reasons for leaving, please follow the appropriate guidelines. This will rid complications.

Whatever reason you're here for, there are some things to know so you're on the right track.

Introduction?

This is your chance to introduce yourself as a member. Pop in and briefly say a few things about yourself and maybe why you're here. This is the place to be welcomed into the community.

Introduction Guidelines and Rules

  • You must have 20 posts or less to make an introduction topic.
After that, you should fit right in so there's no real reason to make an introduction.

[*]You may only have 1 introduction topic

  • An exception is if you are away from the forum for at least 6 months. This is because it is the nature for a forum to change, so you'll need an introduction to be familiar with the new season of members.

[*]No Flaming Allowed

  • New members are to be respected. Any trolling done by users be it the original poster or a replying member is to be handled by moderators and not your unnecessary flaming.

[*]No one-word posts

  • Please keep the introduction topic interesting. You don't have to make a member biography here, but at least tell us some of your interests! Things like "Hi" or "Sup" as an introduction is considered spam. Additionally, do not reply to member introductions with single word responses. Make them feel welcome!

Farewell?

Sometimes you'll have a reason for leaving. To make sure that all goes well, we have a few rules and guidelines set in place. So please, make sure you read this before you post in or make a farewell topic.

Farewell Guidelines and Rules

  • You must have at least 20 posts to make a farewell and have been a member for at least 60 days.
Two weeks is about the time you get used to the community and have been introduced via the chat.

[*]No one-word farewell posts

  • A farewell topic is for a goodbye that takes more than just a status update. Don't leave with a simple "I gtg lulz." Tell us the reason why you're leaving.

[*]No flaming allowed

  • Again, there is to be no flaming here. Please say your goodbyes without attacking another user or posting with the intent of causing flaming. Doing so will subject you to punishment by moderators.
  • Additionally, do not attack users as they leave please. If they're respectfully leaving then you should show respect as well.

[*]3 Months

[*]The minimum time to stick with your farewell is 3 months.

Be sure to ask me any questions about the introduction and farewell guidelines and rules. Your input is greatly appreciated as is your inclusion in the forums. Be sure to get to know the rules and enjoy posting!

Have fun!
